2018 Subaru Share the Love Proceeds Presentation

We doubled the love for the 2018 edition of the “Subaru Share the Love” campaign, adding the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter as our second Hometown Charity. They join Keystone Opportunity Center, the Souderton-based organization dedicated to feeding the hungry, housing the homeless and educating adults and families onward to self-sufficiency.

We recently had the honor of presenting the proceeds to these Hometown Charities, with the LLS Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter receiving $15,541.00 and Keystone Opportunity Center receiving $16,700.00. This is the sixth year that we’ve designated Keystone Opportunity Center as a Hometown Charity, bringing the total they’ve received to nearly $57,000.00.

“You’d expect that having two Hometown Charities might dilute the proceeds each would receive, but the opposite happened,” said Jeff Allen, A&T Subaru president. “We’re thrilled that the numbers were so large and nearly equal for Keystone and LLS. We owe all of this to our customers, who have a lot of heart and care about the community as much as we do.”

The Subaru Share the Love campaign is a charitable program in its eleventh year where customers of local Subaru retailers purchasing or leasing a new Subaru vehicle from November 15, 2018, to January 2, 2019, had the opportunity to designate $250.00 to one of four national charities -- ASPCA®, Make-A-Wish®, Meals On Wheels America®, and the National Park Foundation -- or up to two local “Hometown Charities.”
