What Changes Have Been Made To The 2020 Subaru Ascent?

The Subaru Ascent is the newest member of the Subaru SUV and just hit the road last summer. So it stands to reason that there wouldn't be many major changes for the second model year. However, there are two exciting new features of the 2020 Ascent that bolster its claim as the best family SUV on the road.

The Subaru Ascent is well-equipped, to say the least, and the 2020 model year has even more to love. The first new feature of the Ascent is an available hands-free Power Rear Liftgate that closes and locks with a single touch; this feature is standard on the Limited and Touring models and is available on the Premium. The second new feature for 2020 is standard on every model. The new Rear Seat Reminder that will alert drivers to check the back seat to prevent children or pets from being left in the car. There are three different times that the Rear Seat Reminder will notify you. If the Ascent has been started within 30 minutes after a rear side door is opened and closed, when a rear side door is opened and closed when the vehicle is running and stationary, and when the Ascent is turned off and back on again within 30 minutes and the rear side doors have remained closed.

Other standard features that everyone loves about the Subaru Ascent include EyeSight Driver Assist Technology and STARLINK multimedia. EyeSight Driver Assist Technology includes four advanced safety features that work to prevent or minimize a collision and can bring the Ascent to a complete stop. While STARLINK seamlessly integrates your smartphone with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, Bluetooth wireless connectivity, and dual front USB ports.

The 2020 Subaru Ascent is here at A & T Subaru and we want to invite you down to get behind the wheel to fully experience everything the Ascent has to offer.
