As winter temperatures dropped across the region, our team at A&T Subaru stepped up to help ensure local children had the warm clothing they needed to get through the season.

Through participation in the Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation Driving Away the Cold campaign, we donated more than 500 new winter coats to children and families throughout Pennridge, Souderton, and greater Bucks County.

The coats were distributed in partnership with Pennridge FISH and the Bucks County Opportunity Council, two organizations that work year-round to support families facing economic hardship. This year’s effort also extended to elementary school–aged children across the Souderton Area School District, broadening the reach of the program and helping more students arrive at school warm and ready to learn.

“For us, this is about being present for the communities we serve,” said Jeff Allen, president of A&T Subaru. “A warm coat may seem like a small thing, but in winter it can make a real difference in a child’s health, comfort, and sense of security. We’re proud to support the organizations that work closely with families every day.”

The Driving Away the Cold initiative has been providing new winter coats to children in need since 2008. Over the years, the program has distributed more than 475,000 coats throughout the five-county Philadelphia region, helping thousands of families weather harsh winter conditions.

For A&T Subaru, participation in the campaign reflects a broader commitment to community involvement by supporting local families not just through words, but through consistent action.
